Arma Automotive Supercar Chassis Development
Arma Automotive started as a garage build project in 2012 and has evolved into a small business operating out of an industrial shop in Victoria West producing kit car manufacturing equipment & kit car chassis.
Tube chassis design in SolidWorks along with the Finite Element Analysis of two simulated crash tests to NHTSA standards (side impact & rollover). Methodology development for locating, notching, and slotting tubes together to improve the assembly & welding processes. The first kit car prototype has been ICBC insured, runs and drives, and has provided the groundwork for the next optimized prototype which is nearing completion.
